LA Audio to Unveil DSP System Management Processors and New UK Distributor at PLASA
This year’s PLASA will see LA Audio launch new DSP System Management processors, the DLX200 Series. LA Audio will be showcasing the system’s intuitive PodWare control software and fast networking capabilities on their stand.
Suitable for sound reinforcement and installation applications, key features of the SHARC - based DLX200 Series include 96kHz sampling rate, 20Hz to 40kHz frequency response (+/- 1dB), 8 bands of EQ on every input and output, Hardman progressive filters and 45 user and ready-made presets.
LA Audio Product Specialist Ross McFarlane comments: “The DLX200 series brings a practical, intuitive DSP system to the LA Audio line-up. With our slick PodWare software and BVNet control network, our customers can spend less time fiddling and more time appreciating the smooth, transparent sound quality. And that’s this product’s not-so-secret weapon; it sounds cleaner, quieter and smoother than units costing substantially more! It’s time more people got LA’d.”
LA Audio will also be announcing the appointment of its new UK distribution partner, JHS, who are also exhibiting at the show. Sales and marketing director Luke Baldry, says: “Here at Audient we are very pleased to be working with JHS. We see a great synergy between the two companies in terms of our business philosophies and our approach to customer support."
