Showsec Invest in their People
Showsec has become the first crowd management company in the UK to be awarded Investors In People accreditation after proving themselves as a employee focused company.
A nationally recognised award for training and development of staff, Investors In People (IIP) identifies companies that create positive policies and programmes to train and manage their staff. Every company that applies for the award must adhere to high practice standards and is rigorously analysed.
During a five day assessment of the company in April, the IIP assessors investigated the training and management strategies, looking into different areas of the company including the treatment of casual staff and all policies and procedures directed at dealing with employees.
Maintaining the progressive nature of the company, Showsec is the first crowd management company to receive an IIP award, placing them at the forefront of the industry and creating new standards. This follows an already busy year of development for the company, having commissioned a new industry training programme and opening new offices to extend their nation wide service.
Mark Harding, managing director of Showsec commented: “We have always been focused on employee relations and training, so being publicly recognised for this is a great achievement. It has been the attitude and effort of every member of staff through our company assessment, and their passion for the company during interviews with the assessors that has led to this important award.”
