Bandit Congratulates Avenged Sevenfold on MTV Win
Avenged Sevenfold formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, CA, where the band members were still in high school. The band includes M. Shadows (vocals), Synyster Gates (lead guitar), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), Johnny Christ (bass) and the Reverend (drums).
The band received the award for their video, ‘Bat Country’, which was presented just weeks after wrapping up their tour with Ozzfest. In its 11th year, Ozzfest kicked off on June 29, 2006 in Seattle, Washington and wrapped up on August 13, 2006 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Scheduled to tour Canada this month, Avenged Sevenfold is managed by Larry Jacobson of World Audience, and supported by tour and production manager, Ted Keedick and lighting designer, Ken Sorrell.
