David Stewart Takes Over at Difuzion
Fuzion plc has appointed the experienced David Stewart as Business Development Manager of their lighting division, DiFuzion.
Stewart has been a lighting professional for 17 years, four of them spent with Stage Electrics. Having also worked with Martin Professional, he started his own event production company in 1997, and spent time as a freelance Vari-Lite operator and technician, touring globally and working in different aspects of the event industry.
David Stewart says that he jumped at the opportunity to take on the position in view of the challenge offered by the Futurelight range, which DiFuzion represents in the UK. “I am looking forward to increasing exposure for the brand in the marketplace,” he said. “They have a great range of fixtures, from the 1200W moving heads on down, and the fact that they also have products for the live sector formed part of the attraction.”
DiFuzion have also developed WYSIWYG and Vivien dealerships, and Stewart says that his medium-term aim is to grow the lighting and control portfolio into a position where the company can offer a complete packaged solution – including LED effects.
