Second Prolyte Roof System Sold in UK by Stage Electrics

Impact Production Services in Milton Keynes is now the proud owner of the second Prolyte 12m x 10m MPT Roof system that has been sold in the UK by distributor Stage Electrics. The first roof system was purchased by Event Structures of Tyneside in July this year.

The MPT system is an attractive structure, offering flexibility and speed of erection. The system also offers high wind speed loadings and the flexibility to upgrade in the future with additional PA wings and cantilever.

The system was ordered on the 2nd August and delivered into the UK from Holland within four weeks, two days before the first event! On the Thursday night the system was unpacked and components were pre-built. On Friday morning the whole structure was driven to site and the build was completed by Friday teatime. Covers were fitted to the structure and it was raised to its working height on Saturday morning.

Andy Elsegood and Ed Gamble from Stage Electrics oversaw the supply and logistics with rigging expertise from Gordon Leightley. Andy said: “The support and advice from Prolyte was vital for this short notice order, they were able to accommodate our requirements satisfying the customer’s needs to a tee.”

James Mason, managing director of Impact Productions, said: “I chose this system over others for its simplicity and low custom component count. It utilises just four specialised parts and the remainder of the system is constructed from off-the-shelf truss.”
