Dutch Nightclub Re-equips with Denon DJ
Popular Dutch discotheque Chin Chin has equipped its new DJ booth with Denon DN-S3500 CD/MP3 tabletop players and Denon’s state-of-the-art DN-X1500S mixer.
The Zandvoort-based club is one of the oldest in the Netherlands, its reputation extending back to the 1960’s. Over the years, many generations of people have visited the Chin Chin which has become the centre of weekend nightlife on the Dutch coast — for local clubbers and tourists alike.
The venue has undergone several systematic upgrades over the years without ever losing its cosiness and warmth. During this time it has remained a loyal Denon house, using products like the DN-2000F (dual CD player), DN-M2300R (dual minidisc player/recorder) and DN-S3000 tabletop units. When it was time to rebuild the club this year, the club’s resident DJ’s again requested Denon DJ.
For the new DJ booth they opted for Denon’s flagship DN-S3500/DN-X1500S combination.
One of the owners of the Chin Chin, Loek Kiekens, said: ”We have been using Denon DJ equipment for a very long period and all our DJ’s love the additional features the Denon DJ players and mixers provide. The reliability and professional back-up of Denon DJ is also a big consideration for a club that is open all week.”
Richard Grevelink, Denon DJ sales manager for Benelux, adds: “Loek Kiekens also has a DJ store in Haarlem and is well known for providing reliable service to his customers.
“When he told us he planned to rebuild his club he confirmed that the DN-S3500’s and DN-X1500S would be his first choice. We look forward to checking out their new DJ booth at the first opportunity.”
