Hotlamps Re-Lamp Service to be Launched in January 2007
Hotlamps, the UK’s largest trade-only projector lamps distributor is launching a revolutionary ‘re-lamp service’ for 2007. The service will allow dealers to send used projector lamps to Hotlamps, where a specialist team will remove the old lamp inside the module, and replace it with a brand new lamp.
This is an industry first for the trade, designed not only to save customers money but to be less harmful to the environment than replacing the whole bulb.
Hotlamps will install original Osram, Philips, APO, Sharp, and Ushio bare-lamps to ensure the highest quality standards. The lamps will be installed by Hotlamps highly qualified installation technicians who have undergone specific training and will offer a range of turnaround times including an express service.
All re-lamp enquires should be made to the Hotlamps sales team who will advise trade customers of the price, and if a re-lamp is possible. Hotlamps will send out a special re-lamp box where the existing lamp can be safely returned for “re-lamping”. Hotlamps believes this new service will complement their current offering of original projector lamp modules and APO branded compatible modules.
Business Manager David Weatherhead explained: “For large projector users such as universities this service will save them considerable money, while helping us complete our environmental objectives for 2007 to reduce the waste our services create.”
