New Operations Manager for Rope Assemblies
Rope Assemblies has announced the appointment of Linda Martin (pictured) to the position of operations manager for their manufacturing facility at Retford, Notts. Linda joins Rope Assemblies from leading truss system manufacturer Lite Structures and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the sales and operations side of the business, including new business and customer service. Linda had to undertake a period of shop floor work to ensure that she was fully conversant with the products and processes before taking up her role in the office.
“We are delighted to welcome Linda to the company. We have grown year on year for the past four years by supplying new and innovative products to the event and theatre industries. This is something we intend to maintain in the future and with Linda assuming responsibility for operations, I can focus on our key accounts, new products and drive our marketing activity. It will be lots of hard work but, as always, we will have fun doing it!” said Siobhan Hitchen, managing director.
