Date Announced for Second Middle East Lighting Design Awards
Following on from the huge success of the inaugural event in May, which was attended by over 250 key international and regional industry professionals, IIR Exhibitions, organisers of PALME the Middle East’s largest exhibition of professional audio and lighting, has announced the date for the second Middle East Lighting Design Award - 27th April 2008.
MELDA offers an opportunity to further encourage and stimulate creativity in the field of lighting design, and recognise the huge importance that lighting plays in the cutting-edge, dynamic and ground-breaking projects being built in the region. With over 80 entries for projects in over 10 different countries in the Middle East, the 2007 event proved that this initiative had a major impact on the lighting industry.
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2008 Awards.
