Dynamic Productions take VHD for Hire Success

Edinburgh-based installation company, Dynamic Productions Ltd, consolidated their expansion into the area of hire management, taking recent delivery of a large and versatile loudspeaker system from the latest range to be released from KV2 Audio – the VHD, high-performance, touring and installation system.

Arriving in April of this year – shortly after its release on to the market in the UK – Dynamic’s system comprised two VHD 2.0 mid-high enclosures and four of each 2.16 and 1.21 subwoofers, with two VHD 2000 and a further two VHD 3200 power amplifiers. The purchase complements the company’s existing inventory of KV2 Audio’s ES system which launched Dynamic’s initial foray into the hire market in 2006.

The new system has been in constant use and is certainly paying its way. Dynamic director Graeme Anderson bears witness to its popularity: “From the other hire companies that have used it, to bands and DJs that have played on it, the response has been excellent. Both systems are compact and easy to transport and set up but have the power to far outperform anything else I’ve heard.”

Edinburgh’s major dance events, held at the Ocean Terminal –the lifestyle attraction and shopping mall alongside which the Royal Yacht Britannia is permanently berthed – have benefited from the KV2 rig. DJs such as Eric Morillo who, it is alleged, is notoriously faithful to just one brand of loudspeaker, was more than happy to use the vhd system once he’d heard the KV2 Audio sound quality.

Dynamic director Michael McGuigan explains why the VHD system is such a success: “We’ve been promoting KV2 Audio since Mick Butler (KV2 Audio’s UK sales manager) was swayed towards the brand – we knew it had to be something pretty special and we were right. When we heard the product we were completely stunned by what we were listening to!

“Before the VHD was launched in the UK, we were taken to the Czech Republic for a demo – and yet again we were amazed by what we heard, and the unique technology used – the whole package! We bought it and we continue to promote it – the sound quality amazes our customers!”
