projectiondesign Scoops Grand Prix Award
On Friday 12th October 2007 at the prestigious AV Awards 2007 ceremony held at the Park Lane Hilton London, Norwegian projector manufacturer pojectiondesign won two awards: the Grand Prix award for the A-V Company of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year. This is the first time that the company's achievements have been recognized in this way at a major European a-v awards event.
"We're over the moon to have been acknowledged for our commitment and contribution to the audio visual industry. projectiondesign's growth is built on a solid foundation and reputation for quality products, streamlined manufacturing processes and technical innovation, all of which are backed by quality people who are key to our success," comments Anders Løkke, marketing and communications manager at projectiondesign. "For us, it was a very exciting award ceremony since many of our partners such as RGB Communications, Electrosonic, Video South Medical Television and Sysco also won major category awards for outstanding achievement."
Founded in 2001, projectiondesign manufactures high performance DLP projectors. They are an OEM manufacturer for several other projector brands and are a technology partner with many companies including Philips and Texas Instruments. projectiondesign focuses on specific markets and concentrates on areas with high resolution requirements such as 3D and visualisation, simulation and training, post production and medical imaging. They have also developed their own Certified Product Specialist (CPS) training programmes, which have been deployed across Europe since their launch at ISE 2007.
Over 750 people attended the 2007 AV Awards ceremony. The AV Awards have been running for nine years and recognise audio visual excellence. The awards are judged by an independent panel of expert AV professionals and the event is coordinated by the staff at AV and the newly launched AV Europe magazines.
