Showsec Wins Backstage Contract for Wembley Arena
The newly redeveloped Wembley Arena has chosen Showsec to be its sole back-of-house security partner. Under the terms of the contract, Showsec will be responsible for securing all backstage areas, including the stage, artists’ dressing rooms and production areas.
The decision underlines the importance attached by the venue to having consistency of service and represents a vote of confidence in Showsec’s long track record of developing standards. “We are thrilled to be selected as Wembley Arena’s back-of-house partner,” says Steve Reynolds, Showsec’s area manager, London. “We are looking forward to forming a long term partnership with the Wembley team and also supplying a high quality service to the promoters. By being the sole provider, our staff will have a thorough understanding of the operating and safety systems of the building.”
“To ensure optimum safety levels, we felt it was important to have one single security partner in the production areas of the venue,” says Peter Tudor, general manager of Wembley Arena. “We have extensive experience of working with Showsec, and were impressed by their commitment to quality and consistency of service. We look forward to working with them in the coming months and years.”
