G- hotel Birthday Celebration
Celebrity Milliner Philip Treacy returned to his hometown of Galway on the 9th of November 2007 with a posse of supermodels including Erin O'Connor and featuring dresses by Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, to celebrate the second birthday of the G- hotel for which he designed the interior.
The design included the new Jarag lightboxes from Chromlech in France. These have 25 75w halogen lamps and can be programmed in a multitude of different chases, graphics and effects – a refreshing change from LED displays!
The Jarag 5 units were installed by Just Lite of Dublin and programmed by Chromlech technician Marc-Olivier Saby, associate lighting designer for the event was Eneas Mackintosh.
