Le Maitre and Beautiful World
After supplying their Aqua Visual FX for the Never Forget musical (based on the Take That songs), Le Maitre is once again, as last year, exclusively supplying the special effects for Take That’s ‘Beautiful World’ tour.
Le Maitre has two full time technicians on the show (events manager Tim Haddon and event technician Danny Terry), which is currently touring on mainland Europe before reaching the UK in the middle of this month.
Le Maitre has been providing a wealth of spectacular effects, including a G300 powered FreezeFog Pro on the 'B' Stage for the opening intro 'Overture' at the top of the show when a cellist, two violinists, a Viola player and Opera Singer perform before the boys appear on the Main Stage. Six Le Maitre Confetti Cannons are truss mounted and fired on ‘Reach Out’. Two Dragons use a total of four Dragon Tails (two stage left and two stage right on the main stage). Twelve Le Maitre Flame Heads are used on the 'C' stage for 'Relight My Fire', plus a modified La Torcia with a Skull over the top to look like a Witch Doctor Voodoo stick. A Top Hat, two Jackets and a boot, all burst into flames on cue as the boys perform for the final 40 seconds of the song.
There is a four individual head Co2 Jet system on the 'C' Stage for 'Relight My Fire' and two G300 powered FreezeFog Pros, one stage left and one stage right for 'Rule the World'. A four-head combined Co2 Jet System is on the 'B' Stage for ‘Rule the World’ as the LED 'Ball' lands.
