LSC Adds ‘Bite’ to Skottes Music Theatre

Skottes Music Theatre, Gävle's in Sweden has commenced its new season with Rolf Berlin’s dramatization of Bram Stokers classic, Dracula.

The beautiful 19th century theatre has just undergone a huge transformation of its new Culture Centre, which of course has included the lighting and control equipment - and this is where 21st century technology meets 19th century vampire legend.

Lighting designer Micke Berglund has completed the installation for the production and made a specific request for LSC’s e24 dimmers. “If we want either dimmed or straight power we can configure each channel to whatever we want it to be. Along with the remote monitoring option it’s no longer just a dimmer,” he comments. “I know that the Culture Centre will have lots of fun with these for a long time to come.”

Interlite in Sweden supplied the equipment. Niclas Arvidsson (managing director) commented that “the e24 is the most complete dimming system we have seen. It’s manufactured to ensure quality with a full set of functions and all at the right price.”

Thankfully, the only nightmares they’ll be having in the Theatre this season will be that of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
