A.C.’s Audio Division Supplies Royal Derngate Theatre, Northampton
A.C. Lighting’s Audio division has supplied a comprehensive array of equipment to the Royal and Derngate Theatre, Northampton.
The supply of audio equipment followed the recent £15 million re-development plan for the main venue
for arts and entertainment in Northampton. Equipment included a Yamaha M7CL 48 channel digital mixing console with Ethersound based networking hardware, a Meyer Sound line array system and a full range of Shure and AKG microphones along with various other items.
David Reeve, Technical Manager of Royal & Derngate remarked: “In the tendering process, A.C. Lighting very quickly proved themselves to be competitive and efficient. They managed to arrange gear demonstrations at very short notice and ensured all the kit was on site quickly with the minimum of fuss. Whilst we already have strong links with numerous suppliers, this was the first time I had dealt with A.C. On the grounds of this experience we shall certainly be involving A.C. in any future projects of this size.”
A.C. Lighting’s audio sales manager, Peter Butler, commented: “We were delighted to win the contract for the supply of audio equipment into the theatre. The prestigious venue has done an outstanding job at modernising the theatre and we were glad to assist their efforts.”
