ABTT Theatre Show Turns Thirty in 2008
The Association of British Theatre Technician’s ABTT Theatre Show is gearing up to celebrate its 30th birthday in London’s Royal Horticultural Halls, June 11th-12th 2008.
Recognised for embracing a developing range of technologies for use in any auditorium, the ABTT Theatre Show has built an enviable position as a unique platform for manufacturers, designers and suppliers to showcase the latest advancements in technical theatre.
Attracting an expanding visitor base year on year the Theatre Show highlights the demand for expert industry advice drawing in architects, consultants and building services managers from affiliated independent and public sectors, whilst building on its core attendance from all those involved with equipping, refurbishing or up-grading their drama studio, theatre, auditoria or multi-purpose performance spaces.
Over the years The ABTT Theatre Show has witnessed the unveiling of some of the most groundbreaking technology, which has set a precedent in revolutionising the world of theatre production. These technical advancements, spearheaded recently by digitisation have augmented the theatre experience for the audience, impacted on the economics from a show management perspective and radically streamlined operations for all technical personnel involved with theatre.
The focus of The ABTT Theatre Show in its thirtieth year is to promote the on-going dialogue between end-users and manufacturers, maintaining its leading position as innovative, informative and educational.
