It’s Panto Season - Oh Yes It Is! - At White Light

As the year heads towards its close and the Christmas holiday season gets into full swing, White Light is supplying lighting equipment to pantomimes and other Christmas shows around the UK, including pantos at the Old Vic and Barbican Theatres, and the popular White Christmas returning for its second year of UK dates.
White Light is serving pantomimes all over the country from its base in Wimbledon, south-west London. These include the shows produced by First Family Entertainment (three Cinderellas, two Snow Whites, two Aladdins and a Mother Goose), as well as a further production of Aladdin at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury. Equipment is also going to The Wizard of Oz at Edinburgh’s Royal Lyceum Theatre, to Snow White at the SECC in Glasgow, to Sinbad at the York Theatre Royal, to Peter Pan at the Birmingham Rep, to the Lowry Theatre in Salford for Dick Whittington, and to the Camberley Theatre for Cinderella.
In London, White Light is supplying the lighting equipment to Cinderella, written by Stephen Fry at the Old Vic, to Jack and the Beanstalk, written by Jonathan Harvey at the Barbican Theatre, and to Aladdin at the Cochrane Theatre.
White Light is also supplying lighting to the ever growing range of ‘non-pantomime’ Christmas shows, including White Christmas, playing in Edinburgh Cardiff following its success in Plymouth and Southampton last year, The Snowman, Santa Claus The Musical and The Gruffalo’s Child.
The Christmas shows join the many other theatrical productions that make use of equipment from White Light year-round, including the sold-out new production of Othello at the Donmar Warehouse, Chicago, celebrating its tenth anniversary in the West End this month, Les Misérables, London’s longest running musical, The Lord of the Rings, Billy Elliot, Spamalot and many others.
