Arena Scene Celebrate Industry Win
Arena Scene was recognised for their event innovation and design team’s expertise, when they were awarded the Event Innovation Award for their Vantage hospitality suites at the TESA Event Industry Awards 2007.
The awards took place at Bill Wyman’s Sticky Fingers on Thursday 24th January, with a lunch attended by the movers and shakers of the event’s industry, with a special appearance from Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis.
The new hospitality suites, which were launched at the Showman’s Show this year, define new standards as to what can be achieved in a temporary hospitality venue. The engineering behind the Vantage means that the suites comply with full building regulations, enabling use as a semi-permanent building.
While collecting their Innovation Award, James Thomas, the new Arena Scene project manager collected the award and commented: “This is a great achievement for Arena, and for a product which the team developed after years of experience creating hospitality environments. We spent 18 months developing the new Vantage, with the idea to create the best, most cost effective permanent, yet relocatable, solution on the market, and its wonderful that the team has been recognized for that vision.
