Avolites at Frankfurt

Avolites will take its new Pearl Expert lighting console to Pro Light+Sound at Frankfurt for the first time. With over 200 units on order since the console went into production, this is going to be another major selling product from Avo, and will be the main highlighted product on the stand of German Distributor Trendco.
Pearl Expert is a high performance version of the industry’s most popular ever console – with more Submasters, more flash buttons, more power – and optimised for use on larger and more demanding shows and events.
Pearl Expert is based on the Pearl 2004 operating system, retaining the user-friendliness and accessibility of Avolites Pearl consoles. It’s powered by the new Intel CoreDuo Processor giving an exceptionally high speed button response which is particularly useful for ‘Take Over’, and busking with Timed Palettes.
An additional five sub master playbacks make a total of 20 – the most of any console in its class – ensuring every type of show, and user, has all the playbacks they need, instantly accessible. New Add and Swop buttons for the top row of faders allow easy, uncompromised placement of fixtures and dimmers, on all 60 preset faders.
Pearl Expert has been in action with leading lighting designers including Pip Rhodes (Paul Weller) and Nick Jevons (Jarvis Cocker), and Geoff Buckley is buying one to accompany him on the upcoming James tour. High profile Pearl Expert installations in London already include The End, the Hippodrome Leicester Square and Brixton Fridge.
Also on the Trendco booth will be the powerful Diamond 4 Elite and Vision Consoles, currently on tour with Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Killers and Bryan Adams. The range of Art2000 Dimming Racks will be demonstrated with a new patch field specifically designed for the German market.
