Black Light Sponsor Scottish Touring Theatres Consortium
Black Light has announced its sponsorship of Visible Fictions and their Spring 2007 co-production with the Scottish Touring Theatres Consortium of ‘The Rise & Fall Of Little Voice’.
Black Light is passionate about Scottish theatre as this is where it all began for them. They say they are thrilled to be able support this tour of Scottish venues with lighting equipment and advice. Gavin Stewart, managing director of Black Light, said: " We really wanted to support the Scottish theatre sector through sponsorship and this touring production was an ideal opportunity. This is a great production to work on together and we are looking forward to some good nights out with staff and clients."
Internationally acclaimed Visible Fictions has been delighting audiences for over 15 years, and this co-production - the first touring version in Scotland - is performed by an exceptionally talented cast including Denise Hoey in the title role.
Douglas Irvine, Visible Fictions’ artistic producer and the show’s director said: “This is a classic British play that shines a light on a dark and unsettling world. Like a modern fairytale, I love seeing the heroine find her own voice in a land of villains and foes. Beautifully optimistic, it is one of those plays that left my heart singing long after I read it.”
