Chainmaster Hoists for Musikantenstadl
Since the 80s, Musikantenstadl has been one of the most successful TV productions carried by public service broadcasters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is devoted to folk music, brass bands, popular classics, German hits and international easy listening. The programme is a Eurovision co-production and regularly tours the cities of the German-speaking world. From its inception in 1981 until 2005, the show was compèred by Karl Moik. Now, his successor, Andy Borg, has given Musikantenstadl fresh impetus.
An additional 70 BGV-D8 plus 500 kg rigging lifts and ten BGV-D8plus 1,250kg rigging lifts from ChainMaster have recently been ordered for the production. The hoists have been earmarked for mobile use during the show.
