Latest DMXCreator from VXCO Lighting System

VXCO Lighting System of Switzerland will present at Pro Light+Sound in Frankfurt (28-31 March) the latest hard and sofware upgrades of their DMXCreator series of professional pc lighting controls.

DMXCreator+ Series replaces the successful DMXCreator1024 and 512 Mk2 and is available in two versions, with 1024 and 512 DMX channels of output respectively. Both new interfaces feature 512 channels of DMX input that can be used for remote control or DMX recording, among other things.

The DMXCreator+ Series offers some brand new features, unparalleled on the PC lighting control market. The stand-alone mode made popular by the DMXCreator 512 Mk2 has now been upgrated to use SD card technology, which allows for a memory card of up to 2 GB. This translates to a stand-alone scene capacity of 1,000,000! For scene and sequence selection in stand-alone mode, a PS2 keyboard or a MIDI keyboard/sequencer can be connected directly to the interface. This is a useful tool for musicians or multimedia shows.

VXCO has also added to the DMXCreator’s already impressive list of software features. A graphical multimedia show designer using timeline editing has been added for easy and precise programming of lighting, video and sound. For advanced LED or fixture array controls, VXCO has created the Matrix Editor, which can easily be seen as an upgrade on the current market. Remote show control is now possible through the internet or your network using the TCP/IP protocol. For fixtures with a large channel count the maximum channel number per fixture has been upgraded from 32 to 256. As always, the software is downloadable free of charge.
