White Light at ARC 07 and Switched On London
White Light is set to show products of use to architectural, event and retail lighting designers at ARC07, the architectural, retail and commercial lighting show which takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, North London from February 12th-13th.
White Light will be on the Enliten Architectural Lighting stand, M35, demonstrating a range of products for which they are the exclusive UK distributors, and which will be of interest to those creating the lighting for architectural or events projects.
Those looking to control lighting remotely without the need cables will be interested in the W-DMX wireless DMX system from Wireless Solutions in Sweden, currently in use on the Light Elements project in Maidstone, well proven on other events around the world and ranked top in a recent test of wireless control systems by Lighting+ Sound International magazine.
Designers looking for cost-effective playback of pre-programmed lighting will be interested in the showSTORE and miniSTORE DMX playback systems from ELC which record and playback DMX data from shows created on full-featured lighting controllers and then play it back triggered by conditions such as contact closures, time or other events. MiniSTORES are already in use on the Dino Jaws travelling exhibition from the Natural History Museum, amongst other projects.
Such projects will also usually need dimmers, and LSC’s EKO wall-mount installation dimmer, available in 6-, 12- and 24-channel versions, offers a cost-effective, practical, and versatile solution.
White Light is also the exclusive UK distributor for Rainbow colour changers, dimmable fluorescent and LED lighting from LDDE, smoke and haze machines from Look Solutions and for lantern manufacturer Robert Juliat, whose Lancelot 4kW HTI spotlight/effects projector offers a unique solution to those lighting large-scale events in arenas or requiring projections over long throws. White Light also offers its own popular VSFX optical effects system and DFS Digital Festoon System, and will be showing products from the Enliten range of architectural lighting fixtures.
White Light will also be participating in the Switched On London festival of lighting, taking place in the Pool of London along the banks of the River Thames from February 8th-16th. Produced by Mondiale Publishing, the event will see a number of temporary lighting schemes installed on buildings and landmarks between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. White Light will be supplying cabling and infrastructure for the project, which will also offer visitors a chance to see the W-DMX wireless control system in action.
