103” makes an appearance at Sartoria with VideoTheque
PSCo worked with clients VideoTheque to create a stunning stage set, for their Venetian themed showcase at Sartoria, London.
The room was dressed with stunning AV displays including the world’s largest plasma screen, the Panasonic 103”, which is exclusive to PSCo. The entertainment featured a new concept named Discquartet, which included live musicians roaming the venue wirelessly, playing alongside the DJ’s vibrant music. This, combined with Venetian characters in full costume entertaining guests with performance art, juggling and a fashion show made the evening a spectacular showcase.
Production specialists VideoTheque created a system which allowed guests to see themselves within the images on the screens. Roaming cameramen provided live video footage of guests attending the party, used in conjunction and blended with specially filmed footage in the Italian city.
The state of the art visual system combined with specially created content, acted as a doorway to this years Venetian carnival. The stage set was a collection of the most advanced technology on the market, and consisted of a 103” plasma, flanked by two 84” Plasmas, with a 50” Plasma placed at the front of the VJ booth.
The cocktail bar featured an amazing Infinite Plasma Wall as a backdrop, showing scenes from various bar related films and pre-recorded footage of live flair barman working at a venue. This showed how using screens and specially created video content any client can choose the live backdrop they require. The backdrop comprised of 9 Infinite Plasma screens in a 3x3 configuration, positioned behind a pair of talented cocktail barmen.
