Hans-Juergen Heitzer Appointed Sales Manager at Meyer Sound Germany
Meyer Sound has announced the appointment of Hans-Juergen Heitzer to the position of Sales Manager, Süden/Osten (Southern/Eastern Regions) at Meyer Sound Germany. Responsible for sales in Germany's southern and eastern regions, Heitzer brings with him knowledge of the entire audio chain in sound reinforcement systems — including digital mixing desks — for theatre, broadcast, and rental companies.
"His understanding of sound reinforcement systems, including digital mixing consoles and everything in the signal path on both sides of them, is of tremendous benefit to our customers," says Meyer Sound Germany managing director Jim Sides. "His knowledge is derived from hands-on experience in every aspect of customer support, including helping applications engineers formulate system specifications, training sound engineers on new products, ensuring that things go smoothly the first few times a client uses new equipment, and continuing after-sales technical support. We are excited to have him join our growing team."
Heitzer's 21-year career in professional audio includes 14 years with the Mark IV group in Germany and graduating from SAE Institute in Munich. Most recently, Heitzer worked on the successful introduction of InnovaSon consoles in the region. His impressive list of installation work includes venues such as Stars in Concert and the Estrel Convention Center (both in Berlin), and Theater Bielefeld. In his role with InnovaSon, Heitzer brought digital mixing to tours by German artists like Tokio Hotel, Bela B, SEED, and others.
"It’s great to be representing Meyer Sound, which is known for pioneering superior technology," says Heitzer, "I look forward to helping to make Meyer Sound products ubiquitous in Germany."
