Justin Hawkins Turns to HHB for Major Pro Tools Installation

Justin Hawkins has purchased a Pro Tools / ICON Console system from HHB, Europe’s largest Digidesign reseller. Comprising a 32-fader ICON D-Control console, Pro Tools HD3, extensive storage and a full suite of plug-ins, the system forms the heart of the former Darkness frontman's new recording facility in North West London.

Sold on Pro Tools since using a humble Digi 001 to record the massive hit single 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love', Justin initially approached Greg Wheeler at HHB to help specify the larger system.

"The HHB team has been great to deal with right from the start,” reports Hawkins. “Greg was able to advise me on exactly what I needed and the installation went very smoothly. The after sales service is every bit as good with Dean Wilmarsh on hand at a moment's notice to fix the few inevitable teething problems wešve had.”

As Europe's leading professional audio equipment supplier, HHB was also able to supply a full package of peripheral products including Apple computers and KRK monitors, and to assist with the commissioning of custom furniture.

Commenting for HHB, Greg Wheeler says “Everyone at HHB particularly enjoyed working on this project. The new studio looks and sounds great, and we wish Justin every success.”
