Off-Axis Projector? Pre-Distort Your Images with Rosco

All too often the position of your projector is off centre from the required position of your image, and of course, as a result, the image is distorted by the time the light hits the projection surface.
None of this needs be a problem though as Rosco has the experience and expertise to calculate the degree to which the original image needs to be pre-distorted, so that the oblique angles of projection are corrected.
The projector can be off axis vertically, horizontally or both – Rosco is able to modify your image to account for both single and double plane distortion. All they need to know from you is the position of your projector in relation to the desired position of the final image, and the lantern you are using.
And if there are other times when you simply need to prescribe your final image size, then Rosco can deal with that too.
A gobo will naturally produce a particular image size, when the projector is set at a certain distance from the projection surface. But if you need your final image size to be smaller and cannot move your projector closer, then the gobo’s image size needs to be adapted. Using the facts – the distance your projector is from the projection surface and the lantern and lens you are using – Rosco can calculate the necessary size of the image on the gobo and can manufacture it for you accordingly.
