RML Helps Mock The Week
Mock the Week, the popular comedy show from Angst Productions came back to our screens this month for a fourth series. The BBC 2 show is hosted by comedian Dara O’Brian and produced by Dan Patterson.
Lighting Designer Dave Davey is back for the fourth series and has opted for a hire list of 19 VL1000TS’s and a Vector Blue console provided by Richard Martin Lighting.
The design brief set out for Davey, was to “make the set look colourful without spill onto projection screens”. To achieve this Davey had the VL1000TSs - “all hanging, focused on to backing flats”.
When asked why he chose to use the VL1000TS, he explained it was for the “shutters and wide zoom range” that they provide.
