Show-Way: a New Show for Italy
At an official presentation on 16th March at the Fiera di Bergamo, the Italian trade association APIAS announced the launch of a totally new exhibition - ShowWay - with the first event to take place 24-26 February 2008 in the venue. ShowWay will set out to attract an international audience of entertainment technology professionals across the sectors of lighting, sound, video, structures, projects, etc. Only 50km from Milan, Bergamo is ideally situated on the Italian motorway network and also has its own airport with a wide network of European connections.
Invited press and potential exhibitors were briefed on the plans for the event and had the opportunity to visit the exhibition halls and facilities at the Bergamo Fiera. John Offord and Ken Sewell of etnow were present at the event and can report a very positive response to the plans of APIAS whose essential idea is for a show purely dedicated to the entertainment technology sector.
