Smart-e’s First Showing at PALME 2007
UK audio and video distribution equipment company Smart-e Limited will be exhibiting at PALME Middle East for the first time. The company, which is well known in Europe for its purple coloured AV distribution equipment, is looking to expand the availability of its product range by appointing distributors to cover the EMEA area. The company has an extensive range of multi-format HD compatible video matrix switches and equipment that combine high bandwidth video (400MHz) and high quality stereo audio switching with integral CAT 5/5e/6/7 and 8, structured cabling distribution.
The company will be demonstrating the new products within its SNX range of HD compatible multi-format video matrix switches, which start at the SNX-4x4 (offering 4 outputs/4 inputs) to the massive SNX-256x256 (providing a staggering number of 256 outputs/256 inputs). With a total of 36 different matrix sizes available, the home, corporate and education markets are fulfilled by Smart-e’s matrix range. The company has recently upgraded all its matrix to include ‘plasma friendly eyes’ as standard — a revolutionary filtering system which overcomes the problem of interference emitted from large plasma and LCD screens, and at the same time extends the control range between handset and screen.
Also on show will be Smart-e’s SLX range of extenders, including the new SCX-TX600, an HD compatible Digital Signage transmitter designed to link a single source such as a PC, to six multiple displays. Available both as an internal card for OEM use, or enclosed within a metal case, the unique looping input of the SCX-TX600 allows four units to be cascaded to provide up to 24 outputs.
Smart-e design and manufacture a range of point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint professional AV distribution and switching equipment that transmits via CAT 5 (and above) cable which amongst many other benefits, is quick and easy to install, enables superior transmission and provides a robust network for all types of AV systems. With a heavy emphasis on research and development, Smart-e keeps ahead of technology, providing easy-to-install solutions for all types of environments, from home cinemas, to corporate boardrooms and educational uses, as well as applications for Digital Signage for shopping malls and other public areas.
PALME Middle East takes place at Dubai International Exhibition Centre, from May 20-22.
