The Ultimate Point Source System from KV2
With all the talk of point source systems versus line arrays, KV2 Audio is looking forward to a very busy Pro Light + Sound show in Frankfurt later this month. Once again the Live Sound Forum is being held outdoors, this year in the open space adjacent to Hall 10. Eight manufacturers are taking part in the outdoor area, each demonstrating their loudspeaker systems in 30-minute slots, twice a day.
KV2 Audio will again be participating and demonstrating the mighty VHD system which so impressed the forum last year (described by one leading editor simply as “awesome”). New for this year’s demonstration is the VHD 1.0 down-fill enclosure, giving the user extended coverage from a flown VHD 2.0 system in situations that require it. Featuring the same 3” Nitride Titanium diaphragm compression driver as the VHD 2.0 but on a wide angle 110° horizontal by 40° vertical horn, the VHD 1.0 down-fill enclosure also features a single 12” low mid and single 8” mid range speaker taken from the VHD 2.0.
