World’s Largest Plasma Screen Available for Rental
The 103” Panasonic plasma screen is now available for rental and purchase from PSCo.
This highly desirable product has sparked enormous interest amongst elite private buyers but Panasonic and PSCo, its distributor in the UK and Ireland, believe that the greatest potential for sales of the 103” remains among AV rental companies, for whom the screen’s size and definition is ideally suited.
PSCo has been working with the manufacturer to launch the 103” Plasma to the UK rental market since early 2007 after its appointment as Panasonic’s UK support partner for the company’s flagship product.
The Full HD screen, the largest of its type in the world is the size of a queen-sized double bed and gives exhibition stand builders and exhibitors the chance to display high-resolution plasma quality images on a huge scale.
PSCo has invested in specially sized vehicles, flight cases, stand and lifting equipment for the plasma, which weighs 220kgs, to make it simple to install in temporary environments. Technically trained staff have been put in place to deal with each element of the product’s use including site surveys, installation and service.
PSCo managing director Stuart Holmes explained: “PSCo was chosen as an installation and rental partner by Panasonic because of our experience in providing support packages for high end AV products and large plasmas. We have spent the last few months putting support mechanisms in place to service the product and making it easy for our rental clients to install the screens on site with the minimum of fuss.”
PSCo are exhibiting the 103” screen at Tech Event 2007, which is being held on 17th April at Mercedes-Benz World.
