CT Supply High Definition First to Teenage Cancer Trust
Creative Technology supplied a six-camera high definition portable production unit for the recent series of Royal Albert Hall gigs in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The system comprised one camera placed front-of-house, two placed in the pit, two mini-cams and a pole cam-routed ultra-clear imagery – via a Grass Valley Kayak DD Digital production switcher – to a 7.2m x 4m (16:9) 8mm High resolution Barco I-Lite 8mm LED screen.
Toby Vogel, video director for this year’s events, said: “The High Definition produced a really noticeable improvement in screen clarity; the image quality was excellent. Even after going to tape the camera-recorded imagery just looked great.
“It’s what you expect working with CT - always the best possible spec and the best possible quality equipment.”
