Double Award Success for Focusrite
Musikmesse 2007 was a resounding success for Focusrite. As well as a record attendance and huge interest in Focusrite’s latest innovations, two products were also singled out for awards at two separate ceremonies.
First up, Liquid Mix was awarded a prestigious MIPA in the category of Recording Hardware. Secondly, Saffire LE was voted best mobile interface by the readership of German magazine, KEYS.
The MIPA awards is a unique award ceremony. Held each year at the Musikmesse show in Frankfurt since the millennium, 107 magazines from all over the world come together to vote for the best products of the year in more than 40 categories. Focusrite was awarded best 'Recording Hardware' for Liquid Mix; a DSP-based solution utilizing dynamic convolution to deliver 32 channels of classic compression and EQ simultaneously.
Only a day prior, Trius Vertrieb GmbH, Focusrite's exclusive distributor in Germany, proudly accepted the coveted ‘leser-award’ from KEYS. Votes were taken from KEYS readership throughout Germany and beyond, and Saffire LE was unanimously voted 'best mobile interface' for 2007.
