Hall Stage at AC Lighting North Show
Hall Stage will be exhibiting at AC Lighting for the fifth year at the Armouries in Leeds and will be showing a selection of quality products from their extensive catalogue. Following the formation of Hall Stage North America Inc. this will now include the Thern Inc. ‘CW’ range of clew hoists. Thern Inc. are based in Winona, Minnesota, USA and have been manufacturing hoist equipment and cranes for over 50 years.
Amongst many reasons for selecting a hoist from the Thern range are that they are virtually silent and have a drill drive attachment - saving time and effort during a busy set-up. The drum can be locked in place, adding a second safety feature to the brake and preventing unauthorised operation- particularly useful in schools. They have an 8:1 mechanical safety factor including the friction brake.
A system of six units was successfully installed in the Metropole and Conference Centre in Abertillery by PG Stage Electrical Ltd of Ashton-under-Lyne in Lancashire. Paul Holt, director of PG Stage Electrical commented: “These hoists are great value for money, especially with the high safety factor and the lockable drum.”
