Stage Accompany Frankfurt Success
Stage Accompany made another successful appearance at Pro Light+Sound in Frankfurt. Their special theme for this edition of the show was the celebration of the 30th anniversary since founder Ed Wijnker started the company on April 1st 1977.
On a huge screen at the stand a compilation of pictures and video snaps was shown, telling the story and development of the company across the years. Also on display were several classic Stage Accompany designs that brought back memories to many people with a long-time career in prosound business. A transparent show model of the famous SA Bluebox still tempts people to have a look and be amazed.
Some visitors even enquired about the availability of the product, although it should be said that most of them never had the privilege to lift the weight of this ‘baby’ off the ground!
The current products such as the Audience Series line-arrays offer the same celebrated pristine sound quality in compact units with great power-to-weight ratios. Today's sound systems are best controlled by the SA Fractal digital speaker processing unit, offering factory presets to start with and a box of tools to tune your system with endless possibilities. All of this on remote laptop control via cable or wireless.
The show also marked the launch of some brand new products added to the catalogue. The AB18 is a new half-size version of the AB36 subwoofer, providing thunderous and tight low reproduction for situations where the big brother is just too big. Expectations are also high on the new PR34 Prompter cabinet, a versatile speaker unit loaded with a 12-inch woofer and a rotatable Compact Ribbon Driver. The special asymmetrical shape of this cabinet makes it very easy to use as a floor monitor or for flying - to name just a few applications.
