Leisuretec Line Array for UEP Events

Leisuretec Line Array for UEP Events

Universal Event Production Ltd has purchased the RCF TTL33/A and TTS28/A Line Array System for event rental from Leisuretec Distribution.

This is the first line array sale for Leisuretec, the system reduces set up time, is lightweight, the speakers have on-board DSP to give pre-configured band pass and limiting, and for the rental market costs are extremely affordable.

“With award shows, conferences and product launches becoming technically more complex and rig times greatly reduced, it was time to look at our sound department,” says UEP director Steve Butcher. “Having to rig lots of speaker boxes in a venue is always time consuming and labour intensive. It was time for line array so we road tested a few systems with a set criteria: a system that had to sound great and give good coverage, be easy to rig and setup, suitable for high end corporate work as well as rock ‘n’ roll, and meet a strict budget. The RCF TT Line Array ticked all the boxes and exceeded expectation in terms of performance.”

Leisuretec business development manager, Andy Duffield, continued: “We’re delighted that the system has met all of UEP’s requirements. The RCF solution was the ideal choice for all their production needs.”

The TT Line array has already proved its worth in London Venues including Billingsgate, Hilton Park Lane and The Brewery, and will be in demand this year on numerous awards shows and outdoor events across the UK and Europe.
