PSL Hires Corporate Event Specialist to Manage Blue-Chip Accounts
One of the UK’s most prominent event services companies, PSL, has strengthened its account management team with the addition of a highly experienced corporate communications specialist. Angela Goodall joins the supply side of the presentation industry after 28 years with Marks & Spencer, many of them spent in the role of event organiser.
In her years with Britain’s favourite high street retailer, Angela Goodall rose through the ranks, starting on the shopfloor as a Saturday girl and working her way through virtually every department to become head of M&S’s internal commercial communications programme. Her remit included the organisation of key staff training events for the company’s 54,000-strong workforce all over the UK.
Angela has known PSL for many years, as the company supplied technical event services to M&S. Now, in her new role as senior account manager looking after PSL’s blue-chip corporate clients, she has squared the circle in terms of her experience. “Having been a purchaser in the events world for so long, I fully understand the expectations of our corporate clients and how best to meet them. Coming from a retail background has ingrained in me that ‘the customer is king’. Keeping our clients happy is of paramount importance to me, and, having been on both sides of the fence, I believe I am well-placed to look after their best interests.”
