Massteknik Adds 69sqm Mitsubishi Screen to its Mobile Fleet
Massteknik Sweden AB claims to own Europe’s largest fleet of mobile screens, in sizes from 8 to 71 sqm. With a new 69 sqm mobile screen from Mitsubishi, Massteknik will add this leading large scale LED screen to the fleet.
“Mitsubishi’s LED screens are known for their outstanding picture quality and rugged construction and we are very pleased with our new screen,” says Kenneth Paterson, MD for Massteknik Sweden.
The newcomer’s arrival means that Massteknik now can offer two screens at the size around 70 sqm with 4:3 formats. To meet the demands for the new 16:9 formats, Massteknik last year also invested in two 54 sqm screens. “It was a huge investment but necessary,” continued MD Kenneth Paterson.”
The trailer is equipped with a quiet and effective power generator that makes the screen independent of external power sources, although they can be connected if needed. The trailer will also be prepared with a fully integrated TV-production control room and a non-linear editing system. Up to eight cameras can be controlled from the control room and the cabin can, if required, be configured to meet specific requests.
At arrival on site one operator can have the screen ready in less than 60 minutes. This type of screen is also effective when dealing with short deadlines or where the event takes place in remote areas. Overall, the mobility and flexibility of mobile screens have increased their use at all kind of events including sport, festivals and entertainment as well as corporate events.
