ChainMaster New BGV C1 Chain Hoist with Worm-Gear Transmission

ChainMaster has introduced a new chain hoist with a self-locking gear mechanism that complies with BGV C1. This hoist employs a worm-gear transmission, which makes it possible to dispense with a second brake as well as ensuring very quiet operation. This characteristic makes the new hoist especially suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments such as studios.

The new ChainMaster hoist uses a resistance strain gauge to ascertain the load on the suspension system. It weighs 60kg and can be delivered either with two chain falls or as a VarioLift. In its standard configuration, the speed of movement of the new ChainMaster Hoist with Worm-Gear Transmission is 6 m/min, whilst the VarioLift implementation of the same lift has a maximum speed of 7.2 m/min.
