Martin Professional Italy Welcomes New General Manager
Michael, a Brit who has lived in Italy for many years, began in the position on July 6th. Essentially an Italian with decades of living and working experience in Italy, Michael is naturally a fluent Italian speaker. He comes to Martin Professional’s Italian subsidiary from Erco Illuminazione Srl where he served as managing director since 1988. Prior to that, Michael was employed by iGuzzini as sales director, giving him nearly 25 years of lighting industry experience.
Michael’s extensive lighting know-how, which includes close relationships with top lighting designers, architects, lighting specialists and wholesalers, brings an invaluable level of expertise to the company. Among the numerous illumination projects he has been involved in are the Vatican Museum in Rome, the Uffizi Museum in Florence and Marco Polo Airport in Venice.
