The Showman’s Show 2007

As the outdoor event season draws to a close and the dates of The Showman’s Show, 17th & 18th October, draw nearer, those organising events in 2008 will find the Show provides a one-stop shopping experience to find the equipment and services needed to create a successful outdoor event. With over 4,500 visitors expected over two days and at least 350 exhibitors, the Show looks set to be another exceptional event, say the organisers.

As ever, The Showman’s Show is building on its past strengths and success. The widening reputation of the Show has meant that many exhibitors have been encouraged to exhibit for the first time, including: The Flyin’ Ryan Motorcycle team, a power charged main arena display which includes Flyin’ Ryan bursting through a ball of flame on his motorcross bike; CF Designs, who have created eye-catching mobile shops using VW Camper Vans – the VW Bus-Shop and M J Events Support, a security company that provides a fresh approach to event security and crowd management.

In addition several of the Show’s regular exhibitors will be displaying new and exciting products and services, such as: the evolutionary portable hand wash basin from Thal UK, the new lightweight compact truck-mounted forklifts from Moffett, a new and improved tent heater from L B White and from Miltec (UK) their new funky LED marquee dance floor – it will be a must have piece of kit for parties in 2008.

This year the Exhibition Hall will be supplied by Spantech, a Brussels-based manufacturer of tensile fabric structures, who have been exhibiting at The Showman’s Show since the company was launched in 1999. They are one of the leading suppliers of temporary structures in Europe and provide sophisticated aluminium framed tents for exhibitions and large corporate events. For a recent corporate event in London they used one of their Polygonal structures, which features a domed roof. The Polygonal used in London was a stunning silver structure with a dramatic black interior and a clear gable end, which stood at 12m tall at the apex of the domed roof. The tent Spantech will be erecting at the Showman’s Show will be just as impressive and provide a definite ‘wow’ factor.

The Showman’s Show covers nearly all areas of the outdoor event world, ensuring that visitors leave stimulated by what they have seen and with ideas that will help them with their events in the future.

The event is held at the Newbury Showground in Berkshire.
