Blitz for Never Forget

Blitz has once again been commissioned to work alongside sound designer Richard Brooker, on the brand new musical 'Never Forget' which is already smashing box office records around the country and is set to be a phenomenal success. The production which features the incredible catalogue of music by Take That premiered in Cardiff last month and will move on to venues in Manchester, Stoke, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

   Richard Brooker, who has extensive experience in sound design for West End productions and shared a successful partnership alongside Blitz with 'Daddy Cool', explains: "The Never Forget musical is a production which promises Take That and musical fans a night that they will never forget, therefore the partnership with the technical specialist has to be perfectly aligned with the audiences' incredibly high expectations. Blitz has continually demonstrated its commitment and passion to providing audiences with superb sound, build quality and technical expertise reliability."

   Blitz provided a full range of services for the show from its extensive Cadac mixer stock which has an unrivalled reputation for audio performance, reliability and engineering excellence. They also provided a 52 and 44 way frame, Cadac mixer front of house and a system of three Cadac D16s and M16s, providing monitor mixes to an Aviom system for band foldback. The show's stunning sound starts with a 38 way Sennheiser radio microphone system, comprising five 1046 receiver racks with SK50 and SK5012 transmitters. Blitz also provided six 5200 handhelds with Neumann KK105 heads. The loudspeaker system is all Opus Audio comprising eight AT1000 and eight SB218 for the main system, with 30 ISO 6 for front fill and delays This is a development of the system used with great success at the Shaftesbury Theatre by Richard for 'Daddy Cool'.
