One Man Lifts World’s Heaviest Plasma
PSCo are launching a revolutionary lifting solution in the UK, enabling easy, fast and cost effective installation for the 103” Panasonic Plasma.
PSCo partner with German manufacturers Mediascreen to launch this fantastic flight-case based system which can position the 103” up to 3 metres in the air at the touch of a button. Manufactured to the highest specifications, The Screen Lifter is a specially designed portable installation, handling and display system, which is now available for both trade rental and sale from PSCo.
The sheer size of the new Panasonic 103” Plasma screen has presented an installation challenge for early purchasers of the system. Until now the eight foot wide, 220 kilogram screen has required bespoke lifting for both permanent and temporary installations, be that a domestic environment, an exhibition or a luxury retail outlet.
However, The Screen Lifter houses the 103” screen in a flight case on heavy duty castors, which can be manoeuvred by one person. Once in place, the mere touch of a button will operate a precision-engineered, heavy duty drive unit which unloads the screen and transforms itself into a designer display stand. The mechanism even allows you to rotate the screen to vertical setting and adjust its height, up to 3m in horizontal format, or 3.5m in portrait.
The Screen Lifter offers huge time and personnel savings for the installation of such a huge scale display, needs no tools to install and can be in place in a matter of minutes. A specifically designed LED display allows the technician to know accurately how far from the floor the base of the picture is. A remote control means the screen can be controlled from the other side of the room.
PSCo also work with clients to carry out site visits, prior to purchase or rental to establish the suitability and accessibility of the screen’s end destination.
