Alto Rocks PLASA with Breakthrough Line Array
New product launch from Alto at PLASA was an affordable, fully-fledged line array, finally bringing professional audio systems well with reach of bands or smaller hire companies, say Proel.
Called the Alto Neo-Array, the basic satellite unit is the 208SAT, which features two 8" neodymium mid-woofers, two 1.35" neodymium drivers and offers a 100x 7.5 dispersion, 400/800/1600 watt power handling and can be used with Internal crossover or external bi-amp. At a stunning price, the Neo-Array even has an array configuration selector (for short or long throw operation).
To provide low-end punch with the Neo-Array, Alto will also showed the Neo-Array 118SUB. Fitted with an 18” neodymium woofer with a 4” voice coil, this will handle 1500/3000 Watts and, together with the Neo-Array provides the first really affordable line array package on the market.
