evenTech Ireland 2008 Launch Announced
Newly formed Scattered Media Ltd has announced the launch of their second exhibition - evenTech Ireland 2008. Hot on the heels of the recently announced launch of evenTech Scotland in February 2008, the latest networking forum in the planned series focuses once again on the key regional decision-makers in the entertainment and installation industries and as such extends the company’s rapidly developing evenTech model into the Irish region.
evenTech Ireland is scheduled for November 18–19, 2008, at the RDS, Dublin.
The event is uniquely placed: offering a regional platform, where manufacturers and suppliers can not only exhibit and demonstrate the latest industry trends and technologies available locally, but can meet face-to-face with the pivotal, local audience involved in Ireland’s major entertainment and installation projects and initiatives.
Scattered Media’s Darren Brechin feels the timing for evenTech Ireland could not have been planned better: “As with other regions, the scope of development in Ireland now presents the perfect opportunity for the evenTech Ireland forum and similarly, the event will give a well-timed boost to the Irish entertainment and installation technology industry.”
With the planned improvements in the country’s infrastructure and announcements of major initiatives such as the €184 billion National Development Plan 2007 entitled ‘Transforming Ireland - A Better Quality of Life for All’ the potential business opportunities for the AV sector are there for all to see, evenTech Ireland gives manufacturers and suppliers the opportunity to put there products and applications on the table in front of these key decision makers at a crucial time in the regional market’s development.
“The positive repercussions for the region are very exciting. The hottest and most up-to-date technologies will have their local potential discussed at evenTech Ireland and the resulting collaborations will make a real difference to the local installers and suppliers not to mention the end users,” comments Brechin.
The launch of evenTech Ireland 2008 closely follows the successful launch of evenTech Scotland 2008 – scheduled for February 20–21, 2008 at the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow. The Scottish event is over 50% sold and has attracted strong industry support with key media partners such as InAVate, Night & Total Production magazines as well as the Production Services Association giving their full backing.
