Gold for Stage One at Event Awards

For the second year running Stage One has been crowned ‘Supplier of the Year’, receiving a Gold Award at the 2007 Event Awards. Presented at a glittering awards dinner held at the Natural History Museum, the team at Stage One was delighted to once again be the recipient of this prestigious industry accolade.
“We are completely committed to providing a service for our clients that is second to none and winning this award is a reflection of the sheer hard work and professionalism that the entire Stage One team brings to bear on each and every project with which we are involved,” said Simon Wood, sales director, stage and marketing.
Stage One provides scenic solutions and engineering across the whole of the events spectrum. They won this award for their work on three high profile projects: the Asian Games, Eurovision Song Contest and Mercedes-Benz World, and details of all of these can be found on their website.
In supporting Stage One’s awards submission their clients made the following endorsements: “Designing, supplying and operating the most complex and advanced aerial automation system ever created and building some of the most complex and detailed scenic items, Stage One demonstrated once again that they are world leaders in their field. I have nothing but praise and appreciation for the entire Stage One team and eagerly anticipate our next venture with them,” stated David Atkins OAM, producer and artistic director, 15th Asian Games Doha 2006 & CEO David Atkins Enterprises.
“Stage One’s professionalism, attention to detail and customer focus, along with their ability to add value to the final delivery solutions were key attributes in the project’s success,“ said Juliet Richmond, project director, LIVE for Mercedes Benz World.
“Stage One has proven its professionalism and effectiveness under extreme pressure and a tight timetable and once again the company’s expertise and avant-garde technology won through to present the most technically advanced and visually exciting Eurovision Song Contest to date,” endorsed Kostas Charalabidis, technical director, Eurovision Song Contest 2006.
