PSA Rides into PLASA
Sunday 9th September saw PSA general manager Andy Lenthall and council member Dave Bigg complete a 111-mile cycle ride from PSA Towers in Bath to the PLASA Show in Earls Court, London. The ride was in aid of Cancer Research UK and the PSA Welfare and Benevolent Fund. The riders were greeted at the doors of Earls Court two by several smokers and a photographer who were swift to exclaim ‘You did what?’
On completing the distance in just under seven-and-a-half hours, both riders said very little apart from ‘Ouch’ and ‘I couldn’t have done it without padded shorts’ but are thought to be pleased with the £600 raised so far. Special mention should made regarding Le Maitre’s Rick Wilson who offered support by text message throughout the ride.
