TMB with a Mass of Product at PLASA

At PLASA 2007 TMB will be on stand F77 with partners A&O Technologies on stand F73 and Global Design Solutions on stand F79.

A&O will be introducing a brand new, revolutionary Falcon xenon fixture. Also showing will be the complete range of Falcon fixtures by Alpha One of Germany. Falcon high-power, compact fixtures are suitable for architectural and portable use. Xenon and Metal Halide models are available, in static or automated versions, IP-rated for outdoor use. Alpha One products are leaders in superior design, quality and reliability.

Global Design Solutions (GDS) will be showing the GDS E System – a complete emergency lighting system, developed from the strengths of GDS’s Blues System - and the revolutionary E-System Dimmable Exit Signs, recently installed in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre at Stratford and at the Royal Court Theatre in London. Also showing will be the GDS Blues System, exclusively distributed by TMB worldwide. Originally designed, and since widely recognized, as a unique source for backstage lighting, Blues System has become a resource for solving architectural lighting problems of all kinds.

Interactive Technologies are introducing the new Mini-CueServer playback processor. This scaled down version of the popular complete web-based lighting playback and integration processor is great for both architectural and entertainment lighting control projects. Featuring advanced DMX lighting control, sophisticated event scripting, and robust I/O capabilities, the mini-Cue Server is a self-contained stand-alone device that requires no special software to operate or program. CueServer provides an unprecedented level of control and customization in an easy-to-use package.

FinnLight are introducing the Space Bag Accessory for the Toplight. This innovative device creates a “Space” type pattern overhead light that significantly outperforms traditional Spacelites. Softer with higher output, and more deeply projected, this beautiful light saves two-thirds of the cable, dimmers, instruments, air conditioning and electricity, compared to traditional equipment. From FinnLight of Malibu, California and designed by Emmy award winning director of photography, Bruce Finn, this projected soft light system is quickly gaining popularity for film, television and exhibitions.

Digital Festoon will introduce the Digital Festoon 4000 LED system, which eliminates the need for complex wiring systems and separate drivers traditionally associated with colour-controlled systems. Stunning lighting displays can be created with simple easy-to-wire intelligent LED units. The maximum length of cable is 200 metres. The DFS 4000 system can operate stand-alone or integrate into DMX controlled systems.

Tempest Lighting will show their Tempest outdoor fixture enclosures. Tempest enclosures ensure that lighting investments are protected from environmental challenges of all kinds: architectural exteriors, humid or wet interiors, extreme cold, and dry dusty heat. All products are NEMA 3R rated and designed for long term use with little maintenance.

Hippotizer V3 from Green Hippo leads the field of real-time media servers with on-board time-line control, user-friendly media file import and management, plus HippoNet; complete networking and control of multiple machines, in addition to all the Hippo features you’ve grown to love! TMB distributes Hippotizer media servers in North America, Asia, and the Middle East.

From CPOINT the VMCT tests video cables in one easy step and clearly displays all faults. Test 3-pin XLR, EtherCon RJ45, DVI, DB-9, HDB-15 (VGA), and HDMI.

Last but not least, TMB is introducing two new product families, cooperatively developed by TMB and GDS with their customers. ProCue cue-light system features 8 and 12-way control units and remote light systems. ProMotion motor control the first solid state push-button chain-motor control system. Both the ProCue and ProMotion systems are truly innovative, representing small but significant improvements in their respective fields.

TMB will also show the full range of ProSeries Professional Products, including ProPower RMD Rack Mount and HPS Hot-Patch Power Distribution systems. ProPower provides portable power distribution, signal processing and dimming in rugged, rack-mount flight cases. HPS offers patchable dimmed and/or non-dimmed circuits in 24 or 48 way configurations. RMD can be custom configured for the customer or application from a complete range of aluminium panels.

Enjoy TMB hospitality at stands F73, F77 and F79.
